As general manager for the Danish Association of Film and Mediacomposers (BFM) since 2007, Lone Nyhuus has been an active part of developing the Nordic Film Composers Network (NFCN) and the HARPA Nordic Film Composers Days and Award.She holds a BA in theatre, dance and cultural communication from Copenhagen University and has worked 20 years fulltime as a freelance journalist for medias such as Danish Broadcasting Corporation and the daily, Jyllands Posten. Besides her work for BFM and NFCN she is freelancing with project development for organizations such as Nordic Performance Art (directed by the award winning Danish visual artist Tine Louise Kortermand) and Dance All Year Long (directed by Finnish choreographer Taneli Törmä).
