WSA Film Music Days: Composer's Talk: Martin Phipps

Edition 2024
During a Composer's Talk, we give a composer the time and space to talk extensively about their oeuvre.

After inheriting the musical legacy of the award winning series The Crown, Martin Phipps impressed both fans and critics. His rich symphonic, layered scores suit the royal story perfectly and have substantially contributed to the series’ success. During this one-on-one conversation, moderated by fellow composer and friend Natalie Holt, the British composer discusses the highlights of his flourishing career, looking back on series like The Crown, Peaky Blinders and Black Mirror.

Natalie Holt is a multi-award-winning British composer, known for her two-time Emmy nominated score for Marvel Studios’ Loki and Loki S. 2, as well as the acclaimed Lucasfilm series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
