Impressed by the score of 'Dumbo'? Overwhelmed by the music of 'Vice'? Help your favourite film score receive the World Soundtrack Public Choice Award! Film score fans worldwide can now cast their vote for what they consider the best score of the past 12 months. The score with the highest number of votes will receive the World Soundtrack Public Choice Award 2019!
All soundtrack and film music fans worldwide are asked to cast their vote for what they consider the best soundtrack of the past 12 months. Mid-September, 5 nominated scores will be announced and the 5 nominated composers will be invited to join us during the World Soundtrack Awards Gala (Friday October 19th)!
Eligibility criteria for the World Soundtrack Public Choice Award 2019 are:
- Only original scores for feature films (no documentaries, no shorts, no TV formats);
- The feature film must have had a theatrical release between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 (no limited releases nor TV/DVD premieres);
- Only one vote per person is allowed. The voting procedure is monitored by PwC. The voting period is set from 2019-07-01 to 2019-09-04.
