Jóhann Jóhannsson is nominated for no less than two World Soundtrack Awards. He is also performing at BOZAR Electronic Arts Festival later this month and you can be there! The lucky winner of two concert tickets for Jóhann Jóhannsson, William Basinski, and Phew on Saturday September 30th at BOZAR Electronic Arts Festival will be selected at random.
The BOZAR Electronic Arts Festival (BEAF) has become a must-visit for electronic music and digital arts. With free admission (14.09-30.09), the exhibition areas will be presenting four exhibitions at the crossroads of art and the new technologies. The musical long weekend (26.09-30.09) that rounds off the festival has a minimalist Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner as its musical headliner, in the shape of Jóhann Jóhannsson, composer of soundtracks for, among others, Arrival, Sicario and the new film by Darren Aronovsky, Mother! Also performing on Saturday 30.09 are avant-gardists William Basinski (US) and Phew (Japan).
