Benjamin Woodgates

Benjamin’s debut feature was Sundance hit Dream Horse, directed by Euros Lyn and starring Toni Collette and Damien Lewis; and he has since gone on to work with Terence Davies on his critically acclaimed Siegfried Sassoon biopic Benediction, starring Jack Lowden and Peter Capaldi.
He has also orchestrated and/or conducted the scores to a host of films, series and games including Aaron Sorkin’s Being The Ricardos and BAFTA-winners Landscapers and Immortality; and has composed the music for a series of high-profile advertising campaigns for Google, Honda, Emirates and many more.
Beyond film, Benjamin is a longterm collaborator with some of the World’s top Classical, Folk and World musicians; including RPS Award-winner Abel Selaocoe and Martin Green, for whom he arranged the Ivor Novello Award-winning Aeons. He has also written a series of concert and site-specific works, including commissions for St Paul’s Cathedral and the WDR Funkhausorchester.
