Frank Schreiber
Frank Schreiber is a German film composer, music producer and sound designer. His music is very versatile and covers a wide range from electronic to orchestral scores. Including the German Film Music Award, his music has been awarded and nominated several times at international film- and film music festivals across Europe and the USA.
Frank Schreiber is known for his score of the animated feature film “Manou the Swift” (“Manou -flieg’ flink!”), starring Cate Winslett and Willem Dafoe. The score won the German Film Music Award in the category “Best Music in Animated Feature”. Furthermore, the film song “Fly With Me”, sung by Cassandra Steen has been awarded with the Crystal Pine Award for the best film song in the category “Best Original Song".
Frank Schreiber studied music and arts at the University of Oldenburg from 1997-2001 and film music and sound design at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg from 2001-2004, an internationally highly esteemed film school in Germany. After graduating, he moved to Cologne, where he worked as a film composer and sound designer in his own studio. Ten years later he moves into his newly built studio in his hometown of Worms, right next to the vineyards. In addition, Frank Schreiber holds seminars at universities and colleges in the fields of film music composition and production, as well as sound design.
