Guillermo Martorell
Born in Barcelona, Guillermo Martorell showed musical inclination from an early age and received his first piano lessons at the age of 4.
As a kid, he learned to play the guitar and would spend endless hours producing music on a 4-track cassette machine with his brother.
He graduated in Composition from ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) and moved on to work for Academy Award nominee composer Javier Navarrete.
he has recently completed the score for goya-nominee Marc Crehuet's new feature film Espejo, Espejo (out in 2022), as well as the score for in the box (currently in post- production), Gregory Hervelin and Aurélie Herrou’s first feature film.
As a performer and music producer, he has worked with a number of acts, touring Europe and Japan and performing in places such as the Tate Britain museum in London, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and festivals such as Primavera Sound and Sònar (Barcelona), meltdown (London), and Womad. He also founded the experimental music duo Mr. Hubba & el Mono Inventor.
