Michael Allen
Michael Allen made his start in much-loved Australian band Things of Stone and Wood who after signing to Sony Records in 1992 had several top 40 singles, two top 10 Albums and won an ARIA award. After the band finished touring and making records Michael released three solo records starting with Aeroplane in 1997. After a few years as a solo artist Michael found his true love, composing music for Film and Television. Best known for his soundtrack to the award-winning ABC Television series Redesign My Brain he has also scored several feature films including Last Dance, Monster Pies and Bad Blood. In 2012 he ventured into writing music for games, scoring several DreamWorks titles including The Penguins of Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon 2 and The Croods as well as the award-winning indie games The Forgotten City, Solium Infernum and Armello.
