He started playing the piano at the age of 6, but switched to electric guitar in his teens. Inspired by both alternative rock and the evocative music of artists like Ry Cooder, Gustavo Santaolalla and Trent Reznor, this led him to develop a unique playing style that blends directness with layered sonic textures. He explored the full spectrum of sounds possible with electric guitar and synthesizers.


As a versatile musician, he worked closely with Raymond van het Groenewoud for about a decade and contributed to the soundtracks of "Firmin" and "Iedereen Beroemd". Later on he toured and recorded with bands like K's Choice, Gorki, Arno, Hannelore Bedert, Baloji, Jasper Steverlinck, A Brand, Arbeid Adelt!, ...
He composed and recorded music for numerous commercials for prestigious agencies and
provided the as well as the soundtrack for the short film "Jaak de Koninck" by Marco Bolla in 2014.
Over the years he was a member of the house band for various TV shows, including "De Laatste Show" and "Amai Zeg Wauw!"


This way he thrived in supporting roles for various artists and bands, both as a musician and producer. But additionally, he initiated and led his own projects, including the electro-rock band Garage Sauvage and the alternative rock band Helsinki, with whom he recorded several EPs and albums.


Notably, he composed and recorded the soundtrack for the feature film "J'Aime La Vie" with Hannelore Bedert in 2023
