Umberto Scipione
Professor at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome, composer, conductor, pianist, clarinettist, orchestrator and arranger Umberto Scipione is a leading exponent of Italian music in the world. Prestigious role acquired both thanks to his award-winning profession as composer of soundtracks for highly successful films, and for his acclaimed concert performances on a national and international level.
He has written soundtracks for over three hundred productions including films, documentaries, short films, fiction, television broadcasts, commercials and radio dramas. He is the author of songs, classical music pieces and educational works. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles, in 2010 he was a successful protagonist in the concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, with the arrangement of the song “Do you want to know a secret?”, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a member of the Jury of the “David di Donatello” (Italian Oscar) and of the European Film Academy.

He is currently composing the soundtrack for the film "Io e te dobbiamo parlare", which will be released in cinemas at Christmas 2024.
